City mission trip!

I wouldn’t usually post something like this but I feel that it is something that I should touch on and it is a good experience to share.

Last week from monday-wednesday my grade at my school went on a trip to the city and we saw what it is like for the disadvantaged, homeless and elderly. It was a first for that kind of trip for my school and I think it went pretty well. My group went to a youth refuge place, a couple of wesly missions and an elderly home. We also had tasks to preform such as give food to a homeless person and a less related take photo’s of…type activity for points in our groups. We stayed in youth hostels and had to also get the feel of what it was like to have a budget and fend for ourselves, but we did have a leader to guide and help us. Anyway, Sydneyanglican.net wrote and article and made a video with our dean about it. Here is a link to the article and below is the video.
