I recently attended a popular culture convention called supanova. You can find the website at http://www.supanova.com.au. The were supa-stars from various tv shows and movies, comic books and comic book artists and different booths and stalls mainly from different shops like JB HI-FI and a sword shop to which the name escapes me.

I met and got an autograph from Buffy the vampire slayer’s James Marsters. I also saw Amy Acker, from the show Angel and Tom Felton from The Harry potter series. Three of the main cast members of I Dream of Jeanie were also there, Barbara Eden, Larry Hagman and Bill Daily, which led to many Jeanie cos players.

I returned home which a collection of swag. Aside from the James Marsters autograph I Also got a Family Guy season(volume) 10 DVD and a collection of comic books. They were Hulk: Red Hulk vol. 1, Walking Dead vol. 2, Civil War(the main book from the marvel series), Buffy season 8 volume 4 and lastly the re-drawn Least I Could Do collection Noir et Blanc.

As usual I stopped by the zeera booth where the creator(NoemZ), had toys and books alike. As usual she looked like she was really enjoying it which was good. Find zeera here: http://zeera.comicgenesis.com/

On a side note, I have a big comic book reading list for the school vacation I am on to read. Runaways Vol. 8 written by Joss Whedon. Joss is famous for Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly among other things, Buffy season 8 vol. 4, again Joss Whedon. The Ultimates 3 book which starts off with a tony stark sex tape leaked to the internet. Spiderman: Election day, which features the Barack Obama comic.
Walking dead volumes 2 and 3, Robert Kirkman does some great work so I’m hoping I will enjoy these books. Invincible Vol. 14, again Robert Kirkman written so I know I will enjoy it. Invincible is probably the one series I have the most of, next to Ultimate Spiderman. In anticipation for the new X-Men movie, I have the first X-men First Class comic book, ‘Tomorrow’s Brightest’. I got the main marvel Civil War book, while I don’t like the way Stark is portrayed in these books I want to read it just to read it basically. Lastly for now, the massive Invincible Iron Man Onmibus. Going to take me awhile. I should enjoy them.
