I love technology. I am studying computers currently. I have and enjoy using a variety of computers, tablets and devices.

While I am still unsure if I actually want to go into computers as a proffession, it’s easy to argue that I do love technolgy. That said, the one thing I don’t like is digital books and comic books. Why? Well, I am someone who wouldn’t want their ‘book’ to charge before I can read it. I would love to be able to pull out a Spider-man comic book and not only show my hypothetical future offspring a book I enjoyed when I was younger but show them what paper was as they probably wouldn’t have much paper in their time. I’m kind of a sentimental person that way. I hope I don’t have to endure a time where my books will crash. Or stop working for whatever reason.

The only positive I have for digital books is space conservation. You can take 50 books on a trip with you and not take up more space than your ipad or laptop takes up. That’s kind of cool.

I do like the idea of buying and reading a comic book sitting in one spot, but if I were to read books digitally they would have to be PDFs. At least then I know I can read it on a variety of platforms without needing special apps or programs. Alot of book formats I come across that are not PDF require a special program or can’t go on a tablet. So that or have a device sharing/backup system.

So, how do the readers of this blog feel about digital books/comic books?

Feel like I should post more. Now that life is happening I have content.

I am doing leadership training at my church which is fun because I get to see my friends and learn alot of things that can be applied to life in general as well.

My sister and I have been trying to get our P’s which around here means driving without an ‘Instructor’. Each fail in a learning process to how we can do it better. I do have complaints about the test and their system so

I am doing a Certificate 3 in IT at Tafe. I have never known much about what career path I will take but I did grow up with computers(IT professional father). It’s something fun to do while I figure out life at least.

The strange thing about moving on in life is the different people. I have never really kept in contact with the people or friends I had in my childhood and primary school. Now, after High School, I have a whole new set of people to learn about and meet. and this time I look forward to doing this while keeping contact with some of the people I knew in high school. Facebook and such helps.

So now that life is happening I will be more inclined to post on here. It’s just for the fun of it really. I do like to have life archived the way I do.

Til Next time.
